The PDA full form – Personal Digital Assistant, is a term for a smaller, mobile, and handheld device that provides various features of computing, data storage, and retrieval capabilities for commercial or personal use. This PDA is commonly used for keeping all schedules properly and orderly that remains you accordingly. And often keeping schedules, calendars, and address book information handy.
History of PDA:
In the early 1990s and 2000s, the personal digital assistant, a forerunner to smartphone invention, became more popular among business people. Here, Most PDA devices had a small digital physical keyboard, and some of the versions had an electronically sensitive touch pad on which handwriting could be received, so you note down any information or hints immediately. Moreover, the authentic usage of this personal digital assistant included schedule and address book storage of any information and retrieval and note-entering. Whereas, many types of applications were written for PDAs.
In 1992, Apple CEO John Sculley coined the term PDA full form as Personal Digital Assistant. But later in the mid-1990s, the manufacturing of PDA was gradually decreasing because of the impact of the smartphone invention. It has all the features of PDA in the advanced technology, so people move to smartphones rather than using PDAs.
