Overview of PVR:
The PVR full form is Priya Village Roadshow, It is one of India’s biggest chains of multiplex theaters. In India, it was the first corporation to propose the idea of multiplexes in 1997. It was a ground-breaking idea that altered the entire cinema viewing experience thanks to digital screens, luxurious seating, and an excellent Dolby Digital Audio System.
After getting married in 1990, Bijli discussed starting something on his own with his father because he wasn’t very excited about the transport industry. In the beginning, Bijli decided to concentrate on Priya Cinemas, which his father had purchased in 1978 and which was previously known as Priya Love Vikas Cinema. As a result of being unable to release well-known films, the property had lost its reputation and lost ground to competitors.
The first multiplex in India:
After his father passed away in 1992, Ajay split his time between Priya Cinemas (with the assistance of his wife) and the family’s transport company during the day. He was forced to choose between the transport industry and the cinema due to a disastrous fire at the transportation business facility, and he naturally chose the latter. By that time, Priya had established itself as a meeting place for the city of Delhi.
PVR playhouse:
Kids now have a place to watch movies thanks to the opening of the Priya Village Roadshow playhouse. Here, youngsters can watch movies that appeal to their interests and keep them interested.
Children aged 3 to 12 are the primary audience for the PVR Playhouse. The movie theater at this PVR full form is Priya Village Roadshow, a playhouse containing more than 49 seats. Children’s films and animated programming are shown in this theater. On the other hand, PVR 4DX is, after Cinepolis, India’s second movie theater chain to introduce 4DX.
